The conflict between Arvind Kejriwal and Narendra Modi has been well-known today. However, if we notice their characteristic and strategy, we can find many similarities between these two popular politicians. Although, most of news tell the story about their clash, but we have to admit that their similar part is much more interesting to discuss.
The first similarities are their origin. Both of them are well-known as the national-level politicians from big cities in India. Kejriwal started his political career from New Delhi. As we all know, New Delhi is one of the biggest cities and capital city of India. On the other hand, Modi is politician that built his supporter base in Gujarat, one of the most developed cities in India.
The rise of Kejriwal and Modi popularity was started when the Congress have problem. In the past, Congress held important role and strong political influence in India’s government. The Congress consists of many Maharajas, which is one of the higher social statuses in India, and Yuvraj is the person that led the Congress.
Nowadays, many people see the Congress as the obsolete political practice. Using several people as the central of political world in India is seen to be something that isn’t matched with the politic system in 21st century. The hierarchies system like what the Congress has been adapted isn’t interesting anymore and even many people don’t agree with that. This make the Congress influence fade. Suddenly, their system doesn’t work anymore with the fast changing pace of today’s society in India.
Actually, there was effort to restore the Congress influences and image. The BJP, led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee, try to adapt the modern system. They combine the old system that has been used by the Congress and the modern system that always looking to future to fix the condition. However, it didn’t bring any effect, and even lower the Congress image and value in the eyes of society. This is where Modi, who are also part of BJP enter the stage. He offered new and maybe different political views than what BPJ try to do, but still use the basic that this party used in their movement.
Modi has more modern vision regarding the national politics in Indonesia. Kejriwal also do the same. Modi try to attract people of India by proposing the development-oriented government. With the public-oriented system, he tries to give a hope and something new to India. On the other hand, Kejriwal has different vision or we can say the totally opposite views than what Modi offered.
Modi still hold the caste system that the Congress used before. Kejriwal tried to remove that system. Kejriwal use his urbanized concept which led him to win big in several big cities in India. This is normal, where the people that live in modern environment like big cities, has modern mindset. Thus, make the old system like caste, doesn’t look appealing for them. However, at the village level, Kejriwal can’t talk that much, where the traditional system and culture is relatively stronger.
Although there are some obstacle, it doesn’t means that both of them give up to get the vote from the area where their opponent at their strongest. In order to does this, Kejriwal try to use friendlier concept, by using the class-based politics strategy. On the other hand, Modi used religion to get the support from the big cities, where Kejriwal get most support. Religion itself is still important part of modernized people’s life in India. So, we can see it as one of the best political strategies that Modi ever used to gain the result.
India is a vast country which is considered to be one of the most diverse in the world when it comes to bio life. You will be able to find various environmental landscape forms in the country, such as: forest, highlands, swamps, and even desert. Some of these landscapes are still raw and might be considered underdeveloped to some. However, some others are in the risk of being exploited. To make sure that the environment stays as sustained as possible, the Indian government comes up with regulation to protect it from harm. It is also created to protect its people.
One issue that India faces in later decades is air pollution
especially in larger municipalities. International data ranking the most air polluted cities globally noted that 21 cities out of 30 ranked are located in India. The pollution is largely caused by industrial activities and vehicle engines. Its effect is beyond people’s discomfort due to having to inhale unpleasant air. There are health consequences too. It is predicted that air pollution in India’s larger cities causes early deaths in children and people with health predisposition.
For this particular issue
the government has attempted to pass some laws to reduce the air pollution. In 2019, a plan named National Clean Air Program (NCAP) was initiated. This plan is designed to decrease the PM 2.5 level of more than 100 polluted cities in the country by 20% to 30% within five years. Of course, implementing the plan is difficult as it requires additional laws involving all elements of society. Environmental analysts and economists also warn that slightly wrong moves can put the country’s future at risk.
First of all, because the country’s main contributor for air pollution is industrial activity, the government needs to take action which involves business owners. This does not encompass large corporations but also small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The government has designed parameters of business practice so that it will have less environmental damages. However, this effort encounters several issues, namely lack of reinforcement by the authorities. It is not enough to announce the regulation. The government has to actively monitor business owners from across scales to ensure that they follow through with the regulation.
also attempts to regulate the vehicle use by its citizens. As noted, gas-fueled vehicles cause major pollution, particularly in crowded cities. There is already a pre-existing regulation which decides the standard of engines used in vehicles produced for the country’s citizens. The vehicles roaming around the streets should adhere to such standards. It is important to understand that because the population of India is quite large, the government faces difficulties in making sure that everyone follows the regulation. From time to time, you would see how people violate it. Moreover, the number of vehicles purchased has increased significantly over the years. This creates another issue that the government must tackle.
India is a fascinating country for international citizens. It is one of the most populated countries in the world with very rich natural resources and cultural diversity. Upon your visit there, you will not only be greeted by beautiful landscapes. Many people there still live according to their traditional customs. It will be such an experience to see those values clearly in day to day live. Another thing that makes India an interesting country is its politics. This country was occupied by England in the past and you can see this piece of history shapes the country.
The country adopts democratic republic system
as it main governing form. Its legislative branch is parliamentary with bicameral system: Lok Sabha (lower house or House of the People) and Rajya Sabha (upper house or Council of the States). President as the head of legislative branch has the authority to summon both houses for hearings. The Lok Sabha consists of 543 representatives which are elected from constituencies by the people. Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha consists of 245 representatives. Twelve out of those 245 members are chosen by the president.
Discussing about political parties in India is such a complicated affair. Since the country established its independence from Britain in 1947, the number of political parties formed by its people is very high. Data shows that there are more than 200 parties established. Some of them had been abolished over the time because they simply did not gain enough followers. Meanwhile, certain parties develop into bigger parties in the later years. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress (INC) are the two strongest parties in current Indian politics. They represent different political views, right and moderate-left wing, respectively.
Similar with other countries in the world
the political parties in India representing issues which adhere to their political philosophies. Because India itself is a very diverse nation, you will immediately notice how certain party caters to certain group characteristics. It can be based on the religion, ethnicity, http://18.104.22.168 region or even caste (although the caste system has been abolished several years ago but few of its practices still remain). Parties do not always get a long in India. At times, there will be some conflicts which can lead to violence. This creates political instability during sensitive times.
Its democratic system
means that people in India are all involved in its governing process. This involvement is done by holding general election to decide the ruling party and representatives to sit at the lower house or Lok Sabha. Unfortunately, due to some non-reputable practices in the election process, it becomes clear that there are certain families which will sit at the strategic positions of Indian political world. Such case is often dubbed as dynasty politics. This issue is not only specific to India, though. Other nations also struggle to deal with it.
What is important for India at the moment is teaching its people about politics. Although India is the home for some of the world’s greatest minds, many people still do not get a chance at high quality education. This causes them to not make appropriate choice during the election.
India or the Republic of India is located in South Asia. This country is number seven of the largest country by area, number two of the most populous country and also the populous democracy in the world. How about their Indian Politics?
Every political party that exists in India must have its own symbol and they must register it with the Election Commission of India. The symbol is like their identity and easier to be recognized in the voting time. This rule is written in the amendment, especially for symbol orders. If the political party wants to be recognized as the National Party, there must be some criteria that they should follow. The political party is legitimate if it is secure, leastwise 6% from the vote that is valid in the four or more state, general election in Lok Sabha, or in the State Legislative Assembly. Moreover, the party must win leastwise 4 seats in the Lok Sabha and States. If they want to be recognized as State Party, it must secure leastwise 6% seats at the general election and they must win in the State’s Legislative Assembly concerned.
Role of the Political Party
Whether executive and the legislative branch, they are both has the representatives that have been elected in the elections. The people of India then choose the representative to run the government. Political parties formed a coalition. The political system of India is a multi-party system. India’s independence is already about 66 years ago and as long as that anyway, they are ruled by the Indian National Congress (INC) for 53 years.
There are several issues that appear in the Indian politics system, such as social issues, economic issues, and terrorism. The social issue appears because of the lack of homogeneity, they are still racist, so the Indian people are divided based on their religion, caste, region, race, and language. Because of that, there are political parties that take the “advantage” or target the people who do not like the other parties and they become an asset. The economic issues are like poverty and unemployment. Because of these issues, there is a slogan about poverty, which is “eradicate poverty” for Indian International Congress. Terrorism is one of the big influences of the political parties, as well as the suicide bomber.
The president of India is elected for 5 years of the years of service. They can be re-elected, but so far there is only once that the president was re-elected, which is Rajendra Prasad. The president can dissolve the Lok Sabha. The Supreme and High Court’s judges are also appointed by the President. The Prime Minister also appointed by the President from the coalition. The role of the President and also Vice President are considered ceremonial. Prime Minister is the head of Union Council of Ministers. They will be divided with various ministers to various ministries and departments. The Union Council of Ministers’ members must be from the House of Parliament. They work in finance, administration, military, and so on. Also check The kejriwal and Modi Story

If many buildings do not have live plants or good air sources, the presence of green plants in the building will make the air better.
LEED System as the System to Make Green Building
The Indian government uses LEED which is a green building system often used in the world. This system will create green buildings that are healthy, efficient and also inexpensive. Besides, GBCI has collaborated with Amity University in Gurugram. It will conduct a teaching process on ways to build and maintain environmentally friendly buildings as sustainable buildings going forward.
India Green Building Concept
The Indian government is committed to building solar-powered green buildings which do not cause negative effects on the environment. The Indian government has allocated as much as Rs.10000. In Mumbai India, a green building district has been built and the building has managed. It will get a five-star rating from the GRIHA or Indian national building standards.
The Indian government estimates that the market potential for green building construction will exceed about USD 300 billion by 2025. Meanwhile, the government in India continues to make initiatives. Which is to always promote adoption in the construction of green buildings that are cost-effective, efficient and sustainable.

Politics are issues that always interesting to talk about. There are so many things that could happen in regard to politics in every country all around the world. Hence, here is insight of Indian politics that hopefully could give you an illustration of what really happening in India’s political world. Intolerable neglect of India’s security by consecutive government has been a chronic target of a rebuke by commentators for decades.
Many of independent Indian politicians claim that this thing is not important for them. By far, this kind of issues is not a vote-catching issues for a public that right now still engrossed with roti, meals, jobs, and even more important issues which are agrarian distress. Therefore, the politicians highlight their priority. They were very happy to leave this matter almost wholly to the hand of bureaucracy and dedicate themselves into electioneering.
However, in the last couple of months there have been a dramatic shifts. Because the national security has taken the toast of the town in electoral discourse. Given the fact that the party proclamation only give a little reassurance. As a result it continues to be see able whether the display of worry. In regard to public safety is sincere and abiding or solely just a vote-amass device. Having brought out to the foreground, the armed forced may find itself baffled and perplexed: about the issues ages of political neglect and the recent situation of military authorities association.
Military Authorities Association
The bottom line of military authorities association or relation, globally. Is to make sure that soldiers continue on their camps and resist from interrupting or partaking on a domestic politics especially Indian politics and administrations. This kind of issues will be best accomplished by enforcing the civilian control of the military forces. Then exercised precisely by the elected government. Unluckily, this primary foundation has been undermined as post-independence.
Additionally, the professional and apolitical military has served the fundamental law over obligation to democratically chosen public registrant. Of course, all of them happen without the military forces displaying precedence for single political party or engaging partial in position. Incorporated by Indian armed forces, such primary foundation is a pedestal of Indian democratic regime. It is assured a peaceful transition of force following every general election.
However, if there is a politicization of armed forces who have been faithful to single political party or any other party. He could begin partaking in political patronage. The provision of military accomplishment by policy makers might provoke an overturn action. Where the resourceful generals start setting up armed incursion to delight and satisfy politicians. Well, that was a scary possibility, but it could definitely happen.
Therefore, should army be kept out of politics? Well actually, the fact is army or military forces are supposed to be kept out of politics, in this case in Indian politics. Why is that so? Because the health and overall survival of the Indian democracy. It is really crucial to keep the fine military forces apolitical and of course non-partisan. Manipulating and exploiting the military forces for momentary and short-lived political advantages could bring the real risk of creating Praetorian monster in the core of Indian.

India has a lot of political parties. There are currently 35 different political parties in the Indian Parliament representing a combined total of over a hundred seats. Because most of these parties only have one or two seats. India’s regional parties tend to be by particular families who are very dominant in politics. That’s to ensure they maintain as much political control of the state as possible and even they run in national elections too. The BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and INC (Indian National Congress) are the strongest parties in Indian Politics.

It makes the political parties have clear simplistic logos to make those people can easily identify the parties in the election. Currently, the India Election Commission decided that the new political parties need to pick a logo from the list provided. This is a unique thing in Indian Politics.
India is one of the countries in the Asian continent, especially parts of South Asia. The country is bordered by many regions, such as the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea, China, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, as well as Myanmar. This country is the 7th largest country in the world and the 2nd country with the most population in the world. With diverse demographic boundaries and vast territories and populations, India must operate with a strong political system. Here is a description of Indian politics so that you understand the development of the situation in India.
The government system in India
India is a republic nation. In full, India is a country with a federal parliamentary democratic government system. This system makes India have two leaders, namely the President who serves as head of state and Prime Minister who has the duty as head of government. At present, the President of India is Ram Nath Kovind (since 25 July 2017), with Vice President Venkaiah Naidu (since 11 August 2017). The President and Vice President have served for 5 years and are chosen based on the Electoral College. For the Prime Minister, this position was held by Narendra Modi on May 26, 2014.
The government system in India is based on the political party system which is quite a lot. These political parties are divided into national parties and state parties. In addition to these two types, there are still many other parties that are not recognized and do not get strategic positions in government. Based on data from 2019 Indian General Election, there are currently 8 national parties. While state parties have a large number, namely 53 parties, and 2,485 parties are not recognized.
Of the eight national parties, the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party are the two biggest and dominant parties in Indian politics. Both parties have quite conflicting political ideologies. Indian National Congress is more center-left and has a more liberal ideology, social democracy, nationalism, and secularism. Whereas Bharatiya Janata Party is a right-wing and conservative ideology and Hindu-based party. The President, Vice President, and Prime Minister currently have backgrounds from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Legislature in India
The legislature in India uses the parliamentary bicameral system, which consists of the upper house and lower house. The upper house in India is called Rajya Sabha with a maximum number of parliamentary seats 245. While the lower house in India is called Lok Sabha with a maximum number of parliamentary seats 545. The working period of the two parliaments is different; Rajya Sabha for 6 years and Lok Sabha for 5 years.
Political issues in India
Every country cannot be separated from various dynamic political conditions. In India, the main issue in the political system is that the executive and legislature make policies that distinguish one another, based on religion, race, caste, region, and language. This makes the development of Indian people and infrastructure-less than optimal.
Issues of corruption, unemployment, and poverty (social inequality) are also still developing issues for Indian politics. Also, the issue of religious-based violence is still found in various regions in India. Race-based violence is also one of the political issues that are quite inherent in the journey of government in India.
Kashmir dispute has left a big hole of questions towards the India government. Narendra Modi, the incumbent India prime minister, is held responsible for the chaos in the area. His decision on Kashmir has turned the alarm on not only of India people but also of its neighboring country, Palestine.
Narendra Modi is the first India prime minister who is selected for two times in a row. Having a quite hard battle in the election, Modi and his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has successfully reassured the public of India to make him prime minister. Somehow, in his early reign in this year, a controversial decision has arisen.
Kashmir: A Disputable Area
This kashmir is an area near the Himalayan. Both India and Palestine as the nearest countries with the disputable area has been fighting to own Kashmir. The battle towards the Kashmir dispute has been taken place since 1947. Two great wars that caused 45,000 casualties from both countries were blown up.
India and Palestine claim this area as a part of them. The fact is, some area of Kashmir belongs to India, while some other becomes a part of Palestine. Gilgit and Baltistan are the Palestine-registered areas of Kashmir. Meanwhile, Jammu and Ladakh are Kashmir’s India-registered area.
India is known as a country with a Hindu majority of the population. The issue arises as Jammu and Ladakh are areas with a 60% Moslem population. There are lots of people in the area who choose to be an independent state. Some others choose to join Palestine as it is a Moslem-based country.
Kashmir dispute was muffled by an article in the India constitution. Article 370 in the constitution has provided a guarantee for the people in Kashmir under the rule of India. They are freed to have their own constitution. They also have the freedom to rule all matters in the area except for communication, defense, as well as foreign affairs.
However, Narendra Modi, in his early day as an incumbent India prime minister, has revoked the article 370. His action has triggered so many responses. Critics come not only from the people of Kashmir but also from its Moslem neighbor country, Palestine.
Modi’s decision is assumed as endangering the Moslem people in Kashmir. People out of Kashmir can come to buy the land of Kashmir. Therefore, Hindu people can now live in the area. It can drastically change the demography of Kashmir.
Modi has grown up with controversy in his political career. The religious issue in Kashmir is not his first questionable political decision. Kashmir dispute is now arising as it becomes Modi’s first controversial decision in his new reign.
The revoke of article 370 in the India constitution ends up in Kashmir’s lockdown. Narendra Modi’s political movement has run fast in Kashmir since the first day of his new reign. Critics from the inside and outside of India still cannot stop what is happening in Kashmir today.
Being a disputable area, Kashmir seems so inviting for India new government. Attention to the area is so intense that it becomes the highlight in the early days of Modi’s reign. Is it going to be a new religious issue in India democracy?
Kashmir and Article 370
Kashmir’s lockdown does not happen abruptly. It is begun with the depriving of Kashmir’s special status as a disputable area between India and Palestine. The special status was written clearly in article 370 in the constitution. It is stated that Kashmir is a part of India yet it is free to rule its own area with some exceptions. Defense, communication, and foreign affairs are ruled by the India government.
One of the rules settled by Kashmir is disallowing people from outside the area to buy any land in Kashmir. Somehow, revoking the article 370 means breaking all the rules set by Kashmir. The policy will then allow whoever, anybody to buy the land in Kashmir and to stay and play idnplay poker there.
Kashmir is a home for 60% of Moslem in the area. Giving access to people from other regions in India will then allow Hindu to occupy the area. In short, the demography of Kashmir can change.
Modi, on the other side, says that depriving the article 370 marks a new era for Kashmir. He promises a vast development as Kashmir is driven by the India government. He also adds that Kashmir has been used by Palestine as a tool to instigate the people to become terrorists. Taking away its special status is believed in saving the area.
Various responses are arising from the people of Kashmir. Some of them stand with Modi’s decision. Meanwhile, lots of them are against him. Protests happen everywhere in Kashmir since Modi announced the revoke.
The endless protests result in Kashmir’s lockdown. The government cut off any communication in Kashmir, including telephone and internet access. Many political leaders are arrested as well. The government also put thousands of its troops in Kashmir.
Kashmir’s lockdown shuts the voice of Kashmir’s people. Those who are having protests to the government were caught, tortured, and arrested. Family from outside the area can hardly contact their relatives in Kashmir.
Modi’s controversial decision has triggered unwanted reactions in Kashmir. Revoking article 370 seems like arising a sensitive issue in the country. Is Kashmir’s lockdown really a wise political movement? Time will tell.
There is something unique related to the Indian political system that may be quite different from other countries. It is mainly seen clearly in this 2019, the year of election. One of them is the presence of Lok Sabha or literally means the “Lower House”. In terms of function, it is related to the parliaments. Below are Factors of BJP to Win Indian Prime Minister Election
In the Indian parliamentary system, the election of Lok Sabha members is conducted in every 5 years. The party that can get the most numbers will be the first one asked by the president to form the government.
The winning of Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party in the 2014 election had surprised Congress party as the incumbent. It also simply proved that all the predictions can be completely wrong in terms of Indian politics. The strategy made by the former president of BJP, Rajnath Singh that sponsored Narendra Modi was really successful. They won the election hands down against Congress Party led by Sonia Gandhi as well as the incumbent.
As a result, the BJP coalition that was also named National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won 282 numbers in Lok Sabha parliament from a total of 543 numbers. On the other hand, Congress Party was only able to get 44 numbers along with the coalition. Meanwhile, its coalition, United Democratic Alliance (UPA) was only successful with 59 numbers.
Although there were some different opinions regarding the candidacy of Narendra Modi as the candidate for Prime Minister, Rajnath Singh was still in his choice. He even agreed with the program of the constituency movement of Lok Sabha from Gujarat to Varanasi. After the winning dadu online, Singh resigned from his president position in BJP and chosen to be the Minister of Home Affairs. His position was replaced by Amit Shah that was well-known as a close relative of Narendra Modi when he was the chief minister of Gijarat.
Seeing the success of the 2014 election, currently. BJP is claimed as the strongest party in India with the biggest representatives in the national, provincial, and special regional parliaments. The party also has a close relationship with the Hinduism right-wing social organization. This organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that was established by Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in 1925. The organization was established to promote the ideology of nationalist Hindu.
The news of Narendra Modi winning for the second time in this year’s election strengthens the opinion of how strong the BJP position is. It also ensures many people more about how RSS still has a big influence within Indian society.
Narendra Damodardas Modi is the newly selected India prime minister. He was born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar. Modi earned his magister degree from Gujarat University focusing on political science.
Narendra Modi is a well-known figure and not a new actor in politics in India. He has gone through ups and downs in his political career. Modi has been lauded by lots of people. However, not a few of his political decisions have been hardly criticized.
Recently, the name of Narendra Modi has been everywhere in the world’s headline news. It is not merely for his political career as the newly selected India prime minister. He is also well acknowledged for becoming the first India prime minister for two periods in a row.
Modi began his political career in the 1970s when he joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). It is a Hindu volunteer organization. This organization is believed as the mother of India governmental parties.
His long and steady experience in RSS made him confidently join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1987. Within only a year, the party appointed him the general secretary for its branch in Gujarat. His career in BJP kept ascending. In 1990, Modi participated in the party’s governmental coalition. Succeeded the party in state legislative election, in 1995 Modi became the secretary for his party. Not long after, in 1998, he was made BJP’s general secretary.
Early 2002 marked his official electoral contest. The election made him a chief minister of Gujarat. Providing speedy economic growth as well as being a competent leader, Modi was elected for the second time as Gujarat’s chief minister in the 2012 election.
His career did not stop in Gujarat. In 2013, BJP proposed him over again for the election. This time, Modi was appointed for a prime minister seat. The 2014 election won him as India’s 14th prime minister. In spite of all of his controversial political journey, he was crowned again as the newly selected India prime minister for the second time in May 2019.
Modi and Religious Issues
Among all of his achievements, Modi’s political career has also invited various critics due to his controversial decisions. From common political bola88 to religious issues, Modi has gone through every single controversy. He has such a colorful political journey.
Gujarat riots in 2002 somehow stole the world’s attention. Modi as Gujarat’s chief minister was held responsible for more than 1,000 Moslem casualties. The riot was triggered due to a tragedy in Godhra. A train with Hindu people inside was burnt in that city. Modi was accused of forgiving the 2002 riot. His role as a chief minister was totally questioned and criticized.
Modi’s recent controversy deals with Kashmir. His movement as the newly selected India prime minister has successfully rung an alarm with the neighbor country, Palestine. He deprives the special status given to the disputable area. His step has triggered a religious issue over again.
Narendra Modi has given a different color to the politics in India. He brings along good achievements as well as controversial political decisions. The newly selected India prime minister indeed has an abundant way to surprise his people and the world as well.
The officers of India arrested 3 political leaders of Kashmir with an accusation of threatening peace. The process of arresting was conducted after India removed the special autonomy status and blocked the Moslem’s area.
The former Chief Minister of Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah, along with the leader of a regional party, Sajad Lone, were placed in the house arrest. It was due to the repressive actions toward the officials. Then, those 3 Kashmir leaders were moved to the Indian government’s guest houses based on the command from the court.
The court stated that the Kashmir leaders’ activities tend to violate the regulations related to peace. Therefore, the arrest was done based on the commitment of how the law must be enforced. The court’s command also mentioned how it is so worried about those 3 prisoners will organize a general meeting that is actually forbidden in Kashmir as a part of the urgent blockage.
Before he was moved, Mufti has tweeted in his official Twitter account, stated that ending the special status of Kashmir will reduce India as strength of society in the area of Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir is still separated from the world outside. It is even proven from the cut of phone and internet connections. Meanwhile, thousands of armies conducted the night hours.
The decree on Monday done by the Hindu Nationalist Government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It has deleted the special status of Kashmir from the constitutions starting from the Independence Day of India in 1947. Which is when the area was divided into 2 under India and Pakistan governments.
The final change is the main reason why the special right given for Kashmir is stopped. Kashmir people also lose their rights to have property and jobs at situs judi online. Moreover, it is by remembering how the area has been up for grabs in many years by India and Pakistan.
Responding to this matter, Pakistan will use all the possible options to fight against all the illegal steps, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan once gave his statement on Monday. The announcement added the chaos in the Parliament House of India. The opposition party, Congress Party described Pakistan’s statement as a disaster.
Following the parliament’s statement. Media in India questioned the stop of the status, as well as there are many people who worried about the implementation. There is no history of Independent India for the secret things brought by the government mainly when things are political and communal controversial.
The crushing defeat has been experienced by Congress Party of India in the latest election. Being responsible for the defeat, Rahul Gandhi, the president of the party, stated to resign. His resignation was officially announced on Gandhi’s official Twitter account. The politician stated that his resignation must be done for the importance of accountability in the future.
He added that establishing a party needs to make difficult decisions. Besides, there are many people who must be responsible for the failure. It is not fair to ask someone else to be responsible while he, himself, ignoring that he also has to do the same thing as the president of a political party.
Rahul Gandhi lost his position in this year’s election. More than just about someone who resigned from a high position in a prestigious party, the resignation also signed the end of the strongest political dynasty in India. Gandhi himself had planned his resignation since the election result was announced. However, the officials of the party still supported and convinced him to stay in the position.
Hindu Nationalist Party
Based on the result of the election, Hindu Nationalist Party that supports Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJO) has won 303 from 542 numbers in the parliament. The number is far above the majority that is needed to form a government. On the other hand, Congress Party only got 52 numbers. Meanwhile, Congress All India Trinamool that is led by Mamata Banerjee only won 22 numbers.
Still in his statement, Gandhi said that BJP used the nation’s organization to win the election. He confessed that the party didn’t only fight against other parties to win the election but also the entire nation machine in which all the institutions were used to attack the opposition. It is clear that the neutrality was none in India.
Continuing his statement, Gandhi mentioned BJP as a party that systematically had crashed the people’s rights in India. In his opinion, the democratic in India fundamentally had weakened and the election was no more than a ritual.
Rahul Gandhi has resigned from the Indian political world for some years. Then, in December 2017, he was back by taking the lead from his mother, Sonia Gandhi who had a health problem. Rahul Gandhi is the fourth generation in the dynasty of Nehru-Gandhi.
In his open letter, it is seen that Gandhi has a strong willingness to stop his family’s control from the situs judi poker. He even has mentioned before than Congress Party needs to make radical changes.
The incumbent Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has successfully won the election. During his leadership in the future, Modi will get many demands including to provide more vacancies for the new generations. Besides, there are some issues in India that have not been solved yet. They are including in the area of farming, finance, and income. The statement is given by the head of economics at Care Ratings in Mumbai, Madan Sabnavis. Challenges for Modi
Some foreign companies including the giant technologies like Amazon, Walmart, and Mastercard complained about regulations in India. According to them, the regulations are designed only to give more benefits to domestic companies. Meanwhile, Indian people definitely still need those foreigners to support their daily life playing poker uang asli. That indeed cannot be separated from the technology.
Some people also thought that Modi may find it difficult to keep the promise about unity. It is based on opinions that his party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that often causes schisms. The minority in India, that is mainly from the Moslem realm, worried about the regulation that may be released by Modi. They thought that it will only be beneficial for the majority and may disturb their work.
The latest election strengthens the global trend of the right wing to be the winner. It was starting from the US to Brazil and Italy. Commonly, it is because of their focus on the regulations of protectionism, immigration, and security.
The official data from the general election commission in India shows that the Bharatiya Janata Party was able to get 302 from a total of 542 numbers in the house of parliament. The number is increased form the total number they have won in the election of 2014. Based on the election law in India, there are more than 272 numbers needed to be the majority in the parliament.
As the gift from the supporters, Modi was poured by the rose petals while they are also cheering him up. The supporters had waited for many hours for his presence in the party’s headquarters on Thursday Night. He also stated in his oration; no matter what happens in the election in the past, he asked his supporters to take a look only in the future. People need to develop even including all the competitors.
For some people, Modi’s statements are likely shades for his opposition. The president of Congress Party, Rahul Gandhi has mentioned in his oration that BJP was not fighting against its opposition but India, in general.
2019 is a special year for politics in India. This year, the country conducts an election to choose the president and prime minister as the people’s representatives. The country itself is known to have one of the biggest populations in the world. Therefore, it is not exaggerating if the country needs to spend more money to make sure that the event is conducted more smoothly.
Uniquely, do you know that the Indian election becomes the most expensive election in the world throughout history? Now, the country has even won the USA that held the “title” a few years later. Reported by the webpage of Bloomberg, the US election in 2016 spent budgets of around USD 6.5 billion. While in India, the presidential election that was started from April 11 to May 19, 2019 spent more than USD 7 billion.
There are some reasons behind how the country must spend that amount of money. Aside from it has numerous numbers of people, as it has been mentioned above, the election taken a longer time than any other election events in the world. It was around 6 weeks.
Presents to Voters
India also has a habit to give presents to the voters. The habit is given by the candidates. Although this bad habit is attempted to be removed by the government through some laws. In fact, it is really difficult. More than 8,000 candidates who competed to be voted and enter the parliament house in the 2019 election. The tight competition is known to be won if the candidates spend money for voters.
More than 90% of politicians in India indeed said that they found it very difficult to spend money on presents given to voters. It is again a habit and there is a sweet thing awaited in the future, they must do it. The presents given can be in the form of money, gold, electronic devices, and even alcohol.
Besides, India is also known for its high cost for political advertisements. A politician who wants to be registered as a candidate needs to spend up to billion rupees just to introduce him to the public. On February 2019, there is more than IRN 40 millions are spent only for a political advertisement on Facebook.
Maturity is definitely needed in terms of politics. More education about how people need to be honest is important to avoid any money politic case in the future. But sure, the government also must pay attention to the people’s welfare to make this expectation to realize.
The clash between BJP and the Congress maybe is the event that takes the most spotlights in today’s India political world. The Congress always try to get back for what BJP did in the past when BJP successfully beat the Congress in the election and make the vision that Congress used seems obsolete. Since that time, the Congress tried to find any mistake and press BJP for many different things. The latest one is the Gopa Shetty’s comment, North Mumbai BJP MP case.
Shetty Was Targeted by Congress
A few days ago, there was a video clip that shows Shetty make a controversial statement regarding Christians in some of the events in Malad. The event itself was the event organized by Shia Kabrastan Committee at Malvani in order to commemorate the Muslim holy day, Eid-e-Milad. In this event, Shetty said that the Christians were “angrez”. They didn’t involve in the struggle of India freedom in the past.
The “angrez” here is a way to call British that invaded India a few hundred years ago. Apparently, Shetty made this comment referring to Maulana Sahab comment. That those who involved in India struggle for freedom isn’t Hindus nor Muslim, but Hindustanis (Indians). This comment sounds good because Sahab tried to create an equal position for all people in India when they struggle for freedom in the past. However, the meaning becomes different, when Shetty add Christians as not the part of that struggle, while there are many Indians that are also Christians. It seems that Shetty sees the Christians in India similar to the British that invaded India and make Indians suffered in the past.
Regarding that statement, the Congress forces the BJP to apologize to the public. Maharashtra Congress Chief, Ashok Chavan added that what Shetty said isn’t proper. Shetty shows the communal mindset that still exists in government. Chavan also said that the struggle for freedom is the sacrifice that all communities did in the past, including Christians.
Shetty admitted that he didn’t mean to make a controversial statement or attack particular community. He is even willing to resign from BJP to apologize for his actions. But, Maharashtra BJP President Raosaheb Danze said that would be a hasty decision and he needs to think more about his decision. We can say that the best thing that Shetty do is apologizing. Maybe, the Congress will also use it to attack BJP. At least by apologizing, it will show good intend from BJP politician.
India can be said as the country with one of the hottest political atmospheres. The clash between parties and many people that want to acquire something in the government always become big news. However, in most of the controversial news, the cause is coming from the politicians. Actually, the news about India politicians made a controversial comment, we can even call it a stupid comment, is not surprising.
Here are few of those comments that are successfully stirring, not only India but also the world.
- Mulayam Singh Yadav
The leader of the Samajwadi Party made a controversial comment regarding the rape case that happened in April 2014. At that time, there was a gang rape case by three men. He defenses those men and even call what they do were normal. He put the raping act in the same term as a fight between girl and boys that make them close each other.
Yadav also made another comment in 2015 when the similar case happened.
- Tarun Vijay
Vijay made a racist comment in April 2017 when he was invited by Al Jazeera show to give a comment regarding the racist attacks in India. In March that year, there was an attack in Greater Noida that killed at least nine Africans; because locals accused them did cannibalism practice. The problem here is when Vijay calls some of the tribes in South India as black people.
He referred this name to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra and many more. Although he makes an excuse that he said that for proving that there is no such a thing as racism in India as said by Mahesh Shantaram, the Bengaluru-based photographer.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi
The number one person in India also makes a controversial comment about women. He said this statement at Dhaka University in Bangladesh. It happened when he congrats the Bangladesh PM, Sheikh Hasina, and said the despite being a woman, she has no tolerance against terrorism.
- Digvijaya Singh
The general secretary of Congress also made comment about women. He calls Meenakshi Natrajan as “sau tunch maal”. She is Rahul Gandhi’s aide when they have an event in Indore. That word can be considered rude towards women. That words’ meaning is “desirable object”, which is obviously looking down women.
Actually, there is a more controversial comment made by India politicians. Mostly, it’s related to women and different race. Maybe, this is also the reason why some people from outside India see India has a serious racism problem.
India will hold an election next year, and the spotlight for the election next year is the BJP problem. Regarding this matter, Union minister, Ramdas Athawale, said something that maybe makes the voter and important person in BJP worried. He said that BJP will lose a lot of numbers of seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Athawale predicts that the party will lose about 30 to 40 seats in the elections. However, he added that NDP will make an important move that can prevent any worst thing happen. So, there is nothing to be worried here.
Athawale Moves for 2019 Election
For this problem, Athawale said that the main problem here is the conflict between Patidar and government. Patidar decided to be the opposition, which will affect the BJP chance to get the seat in the 2019 election. To resolve this problem, Athawale also is ready to become a mediator between Hardik Patel, the leader of Patidar, and the BJP in Gujarat. We don’t know how it will become. But, Patel itself try to press government regarding the education in and jobs for the Patidar community. So, if Athawale can mediate to get the solution to this problem, we can see that BJP will get more benefits in the next year election. Otherwise, BJP will lose 2 to 3 seats in Lok Sabha.
So, what will Athawale do for solving this issue? He said that the only way to resolve the issue is by talking to Patel. He tries to convince Patel that keep the Patidar stand with BJP will work to fulfill their demand. If Patel agrees with this condition, Athawale can facilitate Patidar leader to meet the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to talk more about their demands. Hopefully, it will result in a good conclusion that gives benefits for Patidar community and BJP. Of course, the main reason why he wants to be a mediator is to prevent Patidar to join the Congress. Basically, Athawale tried this method in order to support BJP to win the next election.
The Congress has lost their position and influence because of the movement made by Modi. So, we can only see what Athawale do as the act to support the government and maybe, to save his position in the government. We don’t know any more what is right and wrong in today’s India politics. We just hope what these elites do won’t bring any damage for the people in India.
The increasing GDP growth rate is seen as the good sign in current Narendra Modi government. However, their opposition, the Congress, apparently is not satisfied with this achievement. They started their attack on the Modi by saying that government doesn’t see the reality on the field. The Congress reveals that the GDP increase doesn’t really happen. In fact, they make a pun by saying that the real GDP increase is Gas, Diesel and Petrol price.
Gourav Vallabh, the Congress spokesperson, said it’s true that the GDP increase for 8.2 percent in the first quarter. However, the reason why it happens is the base effect. When the government releases the number, they use the lowest base of Q1 growth rate in 2017-2018, which is 5.6 percent as the base. However, in reality, the increase is also followed by the increase in gas, diesel and petrol price.
Vallabh said that today, the subsided LPG cylinder price is increasing significantly. In Delhi itself, the price reaches Rs 30.50. This price is the upper limit for middle-class society. On the other hand, the non-subsided LGP cylinder price can even reach Rs 1401.5.
Vallabh doesn’t stop at that point. He also attacks the Union Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley. He said through his social media account that the minister doesn’t try to find the solution to the problem in the finance ministry. Instead, he writes a blog. Vallabh added the minister use the blog to spread false information and confuse people of the current India condition.
There is a possibility that Vallabh makes this comment after what the person that he commented made some statement about demonetization. A day before Vallabh said the comment; Jaitley writes a post on his blog about Rafale fighter jet deal. The deal seems suspicious, but once again, Jaitley uses his blog to defend and confuse the public about this deal.
Apparently, the political climate in India has reached its highest temperature. The clash between the Congress, government and other party become one of the hottest news you can find today. As we all know, Modi has successfully taken the spotlight after the decrease of the Congress image in public, with his unique and people-based vision. So, we can only see what Vallabh made all of those comments just as the act of revenge for what Modi did in the past. We don’t know what will happen in the future. If Modi government wants to keep their image, we think that they have to give the best result for society.
